Digital X-Ray

The area of imaging diagnosis has been keeping up with the worldwide developments of informatics and electronics. As it happens in our clinic, the use of digital sensors allows reducing the exposure by 90% of the normal time for each region, thus reducing to insignificant amounts of radiation received by the patient.

Conscious Sedation - Nitrous Oxide

It is an excellent aid in the control of fear and anxiety providing stable sedation and relative analgesia; using this aid, the patient remains awake and calm, talking normally during the treatment. The advantage of this solution is that its effect is limited to the period of the treatment, allowing the patient to exercise his/her normal activities by the end of the consult. It is recommended for children, hypertensive patients, patients with cardiac disease, and patients suffering from odontophobia.

Laser Whitening

Currently, white and perfect teeth reflect the pattern of beauty, health and personal appearance. Tooth whitening is a fundamental "step" in reproducing the smile's aesthetics. Laser whitening is one of the most advanced resources of aesthetics dental medicine; it is a safe, fast (treatment lasts approximately 1 hour) and effective way of whitening your teeth.

Dental CAT scan

Studies made on the upper and lower jaw using specific protocols that allow assessing the jaw bone and its relations with teeth. Dental CAT scan is also used in the assessment of bone lesions in the jaw; whether these lesions have a dental origin or other etiology; and also in the study of inflammatory pathologies (dental abscesses, cysts, etc.) and congenital pathologies like unerupted teeth for surgical planning. CAT scan is almost indispensable for planning the placement of dental implants; it allows the interaction with appropriate software for planning the implants' placing surgery. This software allows the dentist to visualize the images, to reformat those images into three-dimensional models, to simulate the placement of implants, and to use many other features which are useful for diagnosing and assessing lesions and programming surgeries.

Digital Ortopantomography

Ortopantomography, or panoramic X-Ray, is a complementary diagnosis examination that is fundamental in dental medicine. This examination allows assessing: absent teeth; state of dental eruption; dental germs development in permanent teeth; determining the patient's age; the timely detection of dental anomalies; changes in the number of teeth by excess or default; disposal of teeth in the probable dental arch and trajectory; the existence of third molars (wisdom teeth) and their position in the jaws; cysts; etc. This examination allows for a general knowledge of the entire dental bone structure of the patient, but it does not replace intraoral X-Ray scans.
