My name is Sónia Leão, I have a degree in Dental Medicine since 2009, from Instituto Superior de Ciências da Saúde do Norte.

My fascination for this area comes from the power of building new smiles, and the impact they have on our daily lives. I soon discovered my favourite area of practice, Orthodontics. This is a very challenging and motivational area that conquered me, and in which I completed a postgraduate course at the University of Barcelona, from 2010 to 2013.

Since then, Orthodontics has absorbed all my attention and exclusivity in Dentistry. My profession has the particularity of requiring its professionals to be constantly updated, hence the importance of my regular attendance at the most varied specialisation training courses, always with the aim of improving technical capacity and presenting the best solutions, satisfying all the needs and wishes of patients.

On a personal level, I am passionate about family, which I consider to be the most precious gift that life can give us. I love getting to know the world in its most natural form, as this is how we acquire the know-how to develop interpersonal relationships.
